Apps I Use Every Day for Content Creation! 📸🤳

hi y’all! i’ve been a microinfluencer for over a year now and a UGC creator for about half that time. I have loved every moment of it and I refuse to quit until it’s my career! Anyway, I want to help smaller creators get started so I wanted to share my go-to apps for content creation.

CAPCUT - CapCut editing is the same interface as if you edited video directly in TikTok or Instagram which is super helpful. It is completely free for any feature you could need ( though they do offer a premium version with special effects and AI capabilities). It’s super easy to learn and do on a mobile device!

PINTEREST - I use Pinterest for inspo! I always make a vision board or a slideshow for content days with the kind of photos I want to go for. This is how I know what locations to look for and what props to bring!

GOOGLE PHOTOS - I pay for storage and it’s the best thing I ever did. I take photos and videos constantly and it’s so nice to have them not take up space on my phone!

RETOUCH - This tool is so handy for removing unwanted items like trash or graffiti from your photos! I’ve even removed people from the back of vacation photos.

TEZZA - Tezza has the best vintage vibe filters and effects with both photo & video capabilities. I pay for premium but I use it all the time so it’s worth it!

LTK CREATOR - I love LTK. It’s a super easy way to make a commission on all my favorite brands without working with them directly. I’m not super consistent but when I do post it’s easy to do!

CANVA - I make all my collages, Instagram stories, graphics, etc. on Canva!

... Read moreAs a microinfluencer, leveraging the right tools is crucial for effective content creation. One of my top picks, CapCut, offers an intuitive video editing experience, mirroring popular platforms like TikTok and Instagram. With both free and premium features, it’s easy to use on mobile, making it perfect for on-the-go creators. Pinterest is another gem in my toolkit, serving as my inspiration hub. I create vision boards that guide my photoshoots, helping me identify the best locations and props for the desired aesthetic. Google Photos is indispensable for managing my growing collection of media. It allows me to store all my photos and videos without cluttering my phone’s space, ensuring everything is organized and accessible. For photo editing, Retouch is my go-to for cleaning up images by removing unwanted objects or even people from backgrounds. It helps achieve that polished look important for social media. Tezza brings a vintage flair with its unique filters and effects, perfect for those who enjoy a retro aesthetic in their visuals. I also rely on LTK Creator for monetizing my content; it streamlines the process of earning commissions with brands I love. Finally, Canva is essential for designing graphics, collages, and Instagram stories. It’s user-friendly and provides countless templates, making it a powerful tool for any content creator. Overall, these apps not only enhance my creativity but also simplify my workflow as a UGC creator.

Relying on too many apps often distracts me from actually creating—sometimes simple, raw content outperforms highly edited, app-heavy posts.
